My Ordinary Life

Good morning to everyone out there. I hope you all had a good Christmas and a good New Year. Mine was very quiet and it was my first official Christmas on my own, so I did go and see my family for a change. My Christmas I did spend with my parents but luckily my brother was there so it was less painful for a change. I cant understand why that time of year has to be so expensive as well, people eat to much, get drunk and act so selfish as well. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy Christmas but it is all about spending money to please people.

So this new year I have decided, yes again, to try and get fitter and try and work out a healthier food plan as well. So with my food I have decided to try and give myself around 2000 calories, give or take. But in that I am trying not to eat fried food, processed food like sliced ham, some cheeses, and some white breads. I have started to have about three to four meals a day and try to make then some what healthy. I am not the sort to stick to salads all the time. I love my meats like chicken, pork, turkey steaks, minced meat and sometimes Tuna.

When I wake up I usually have two cups of coffee in the space of two hours then take a 30-40 minutes walk to the gym. Once at the gym I will do mixed cardio which consists of an elevated walk for about 15 minutes then I do an interval run which may consist of walking for two minutes, then a fast run for a minute. Or I may try average run for three minutes and walk for two minutes and this could take anything from 15-25 minutes. Once done I will do a all over body work out but mix it up over the days. I don’t concentrate in particular parts like legs and abs or back and triceps, I try to do everything. Such as yesterday I did :

   Overhead Press- 60kgs, 70kgs, 75kgs, 75kgs – 8 to 12 reps and 4 sets                                            Bicep Curls – 25kgs, 27.5kgs, 27.5kgs, 30kgs – 8 to 12 reps and 4 sets                                            Bench press- 40kgs, 50kgs, 55kgs, 60kgs – 8 to 12 reps and 4 sets                                                   Seated Abs press – 58.5kgs, 63.5kgs, 67.5kgs, 67.6kgs 8 to 12 reps and 4 sets                                 Pull Downs – 80kgs, 85kgs, 85kgs, 85kgs 8 to 12 reps and 4 sets                                                      Seated leg curl – 31kgs, 38.5kgs, 38.5kgs, 38.5kgs 8 to 12 reps and 4 sets                                       Chest Dips – assisted plate – 6, 6, 6, 5  8 to 12 reps and 4 sets

So today I will do another all over body workout but I will not set down what I should do but will wait and see , when I get there and see what is available. I have done this for a bout three days now and I can already feel a difference already. I have not had any alcohol for about 5 days and I really feel better for it and my waist has started to go as well now. To be honest I am not bothered about my weight as the more I workout the more body fat I will burn and some of the fat will turn into muscle and as we all know muscle is heavier and smaller than the fat. So when I do go to the gym I will do another all over workout and but maybe do it different like just kettle bells or dumbbells, who knows.

My Ordinary Life

Well if has been a rough couple of days for me, I have come down with a bug. I started feeling tired and having a head that felt like a two week hangover, plus my hearing kept going a little. Then my right eye kept watering like a tap  and then the sniffles came so my right eye and nose ran like a tap. Then when it comes to the evening my eye looked raw red and swollen, plus I felt so drained all the time. I went into work for 07:00 on Monday and I only lasted about an hour and I felt I was sleeping standing up. My colleagues said how rough I looked and to be honest I felt as bad as they said, plus not to mention the sweats. 

So once home I had to have a shower and I was dripping with sweat and it wasn’t warm. I dressed in my slobs and chilled on the sofa watching Hotel Artemis and don’t remember watching any of it, looking at the clock it was around 15:00, Id fallen asleep for about 6 hours and don’t remember anything. That night I chilled in bed watching a film around 20:45 and thought I need to stay awake until about 21:40-22:30 so I could get a good nights sleep. Unfortunately it was around 22:00 I did fall asleep but wide awake by 03:30 ish, and that was it I was done (boohoo).

The lack of sleep has gone on for a couple of nights, at least the sniffles and watering eyes has just about gone. The only thing that remains at the minute is the heavy head and the no energy levels, this means I haven’t been able to manage the gym for nearly a week and now my stomach is bloated and painful. Sods law if its not one thing its another. Because my job is patient orientated I had to have a few days off so I need to see if I am fit for work.

I managed to get the energy to walk into town, by the time I got there I was done in so I stopped for a coffee and tried cool down and stop feeling sweaty. After about 45 minutes I felt like I had cooled down and started to look for Christmas presents. I did not find anything I wanted to get but will have another look tomorrow, plus I need to get my mum something for her Birthday which is on the 10th December as well. What do you get your mum that has everything ?

Well that’s me done for now, yep feeling tired again as I had another night of broken sleep and was awake by 02:30 ish but I did fall back to sleep again around 04:00 and then woke about 08:50. But I still feel so tired and worn out, so I am going to chill on the sofa and watch Hotel Transylvania 3. Yes knowing me I will miss most of it and fall asleep during the film.

Ordinary Life

Hey people how are you all ? I hope you are all well, I can tell you it has not been an exciting week, just mainly work based and nothing exciting happened out side of work. What have you all been up to?

At the moment it is 16/11/2018 and it is 13:07 in the afternoon and it is my day off and I am also having a cheeky glass or two of wine with diet coke. The diet coke added does sweeten the wine up and also tastes nicer as well. I have tried to sort out my diet for when I work out in the gym.  I have ordered 14 containers of high protein meals for the price of 10 which cost me £35 including delivery and each meal is about 300 calories each. They do taste good and I got them from Muscle Foods.

This evening I have a kickboxing session, in the session which is a 1-2-1, I will be learning more on how to teach a class and dealing with difficult students. Soon I will be able to teach my own private classes or group sessions, then I have to decide where I am going to do my classes. These classes are not about fitness, mental focus and working on the movements and techniques, it not about who is better or who has the hardest kick or punch, or punching the hell out of each other. 

I have got a workout frame, with this frame you can do chin ups, dips and legs raises along with press ups and sit ups. It is a great bit of  kit to have but as time goes on I have found I am using it less and less. I need to get my mind set to not just working out in the gym but also at home too. In the past I have done the Insanity workout DVD’s at home but now I live somewhere else I don’t have enough room in my lounge to try the DVD any more. I would be nice to live in a big enough house to do some workouts at home every now and again. Well I start with my diet getting in order then find other ways to work out .

The other day I was in the garden and all of a sudden I heard moaning coming from the house opposite me. I started laughing as the moaning got loader. I had a look around but could not see anything. Tell me the truth who wouldn’t of looked around? Plus the other day I was walking to work and there was a woman getting dressed in her window up stairs and she actually saw me but she carried on, seems she didn’t care anyone seeing her in just a pair of women’s knickers. As I was late for work I carried on walking and the funny thing is a I looked up as I walked of she waved, this did make me laugh. 

As I said there has not been a lot happening to me lately, is it I am lonely and sad or I just need to get out more? Comments wont offend, well I hope they wont. Well I am going now and hope you are all well and things are looking up.  I am doing well and the only thing I would like is to become famous, who wouldn’t , I don’t mean rich but just famous for something I do, but not that famous.

Ordinary Life

Good evening folks, I hope you all ok and had a good weekend. Who went out to see a fire works display, hopefully everyone came home ok. 

Well I had a lovely week end, it started on Friday  as it was my day off as was Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday I got up late which was about 10:30 in the morning and felt so good that I slept this long , so when I got up and had breakfast I headed off to the gym. This  consisted of a heavy weights work out with chest, shoulders, back, abbs, legs and dead lifts. The whole work out lasted for about 1 hour and 15 minutes with a 15 minute cardio of 1 minute fast run and then a minute walk . In the evening I went to kickboxing to learn more about teaching people and how to break down the moves and punches and also using the techniques. 

On Saturday I was taken to Cadbury’s World, which was I can tell you ‘amazing’. I can’t remember the last time I went if I ever had been, but I did enjoy myself . I had tones of chocolate, which I don’t tend to eat anyway and by the end of the day I felt sick. I went into the 4D cinema there which was fun, then into the tour around and had more chocolate around the factory. 



There was a huge chocolate spider which was looking delicious. The car looked great and we saw Berty Bassett but I wasn’t brave enough to have a photo taken with him. I know I am a big kid, well I felt like it . The whole day must of lasted about 3-4 hours in all. The only bad thing is it takes about 1 hour 30 minutes. When I got home with the person I was with we had another hot chocolate with no cream but had small marshmallows and after that I really felt sick and sick of chocolate but dam didn’t it taste good.

Sunday I had to kill it at the gym and wasn’t it difficult and a felt so stuffed still and a little bloated too. but to be honest, it not that bad if you have a blow out on rubbish food once in a while surely?.

Well I hope you all have had a great weekend as me. But I did work it off the next day. Well be nice to people. If someone gets in your face and starts to say bad things about you. Try just saying OK or yes that’s right and smile. Remember they are just words and they only have meaning if you give them meaning.  So smile at the person and agree, then the only person that will look silly is the other person.

Ordinary Life

Well people how are you all? I hope you are good.

I have not been up to much as I have had a long week at work, 5 shifts of 12 hours each and over the weekend it can be very long. There has not been a lot going on really, so there is not much to write about this time. I did have a great session in kickboxing learning how to teach and ways of engaging people that appear not to be doing great in a session, this was a real eye opener. 

I started looking for different music to listen to and to chill out to. I have found out I have a great liking for country music. Mainly KANE BROWN, a young man who I think is 24 yrs old and with his voice…..dam killer…..I have watched some of his videos he posts out there too.

I have gone out to get his music and this is the only one I can get in my town. Believe me when I say it is a great CD. I have watched some of his videos he posts and he seems to be so much for his fans, getting them up on stage in concert. What he did for his mums birthday and he video it was awesome. He seems to be a very humble man and doesn’t seem to be one of those men that has let fame go to his head. His music to me has that feeling of no matter how bad ya day has been it doesn’t matter remember your friends. 

well that’s all I have for now. Did say it was short this time. But I do recommend that you even try listening to his music, my favourite tracks are Heaven, What If, and What’s Mine is Yours.

Remember people be nice to people, no matter what they say to you, at the end of the day what they say are only words. Words only hurt you or offend you if you give meaning to what they say, so don’t give them meaning, they are just words. To many people now days are to easily offended by what people say or do, those people are only offended because they are feeding into what the other person says. Just laugh at them and walk away.

Good morning everybody, how are you all?  I have had a week off from work and it was glorious. Now this is my first week back at work and I am running the shifts, what a start to the week. We have had a week of new starters at work and this means lots and lots of ID badges for the new staff and explanations about policies and procedures. 

Well I went to the gym today and tried to do some cardio, due to an injury I got some how, a week and a half ago I got a pain in my ankle, then it spread to the top of my foot and up the right side of my shin. It only hurts a little when I run or walk and basically move my foot. I can put weight on it or if I stand on it with no pain or discomfort, I’m not sure if my foot is bruised a little but it is a little swollen a little bit. I have taken painkillers and anti inflamitaries

Ordinary Life

Well it has been a while, since I have been on here and it has been a little busy for me. I have had a birthday which was quiet as usual, but the good thing is my parents came over to visit me on my birthday, even though it was only about 45 minutes to an hour. The main thing is that I saw them, no time is better than no time. In the afternoon my girlfriend came over and for my birthday and got me an amazing present(which I was not expecting) she got me a TV for the bedroom, I was over whelmed with what she got me.

For the week of my Birthday I booked a week off work and it was amazing, I have been to the gym and tried a new workout. It is HIIT cardio for 15 minutes and medium weights but each rep was done slowly, so I done reps really slowly and I found out I could not do as many reps with my usual reps. But I do feel the burn more and more and have started to bulk a little more. My diet has been small but often so I eat about 4-5 times a day but low carbs. I have kept the cardio down to a minimal due to an injury to my ankle, I did not slip, trip or fall. I feel pain in my ankle and yes it is a little swollen and a little painful but manageable, I feel pain in the left leg, left side of my shin, ankle and left side of the top of my foot. It is ok when I don’t walk but starts to hurt when I walk but not to bad. I have taken pain killers and anti-inflamitaries but with no effect.

I did go out for a few drinks on Friday night for a few birthday drinks, I arranged drinks with people I woke with but only my team leader turned up, one bloke couldn’t because his wife was working so he had to look after the kids which is cool. One bloke had family issues and others did not reply or turn up. I did have a good night having a few drinks with my boss, nice catch up and a great laugh. 

At the moment I am drinking Jack Daniels with ice and watching The big Bang Theory while typing. funny as and Sheldon singing with friends mom. Plus I have been studying about kickboxing, studying styles and combinations. this links in with trying to keep fit , I have tried to bulk up a little and now it is time to cut down and lose a little fat in my body. I would love a body to show a little muscle and be able to have  photo shoots, for a laugh. It would make me feel confident I think. 

Now it is Sunday 21st October and it is 18:57 and just cooked food for work tomorrow which consists of pasta and spag bol, plus also chicken salad, that would be two spag bol and one chicken salad. Plus I will have a slim fast shake for breakfast  and snack. I now it going to be difficult as people can be difficult at work and right now I am totally chilled from work. Plus I may go to the gym after work  or do a work out at home with my chin up frame.

Ordinary Life

Good day to you all, I hope you are all well. 

Well today was interesting so far and it is only 14:32 so far. I just been up the local shop (co-op) and got a bottle of white wine with 7up to make a spritzer or two. On the way back there was a man speaking or should really say shouting in another language at people. He was staggering along the street as he shouted at people but did not come across as aggressive at the minute. One lad across the street was shouted at and he called back ‘who you shouting at?’ . then as I passed him he went to high five me but also grabbed my right arm. I turned and said ‘what the hell’? , he said something in a language I did not understand and then pushed me on the right shoulder. I stood my ground and asked him what his problem was and he raised his hand up, I thought he was going to hit me so I stepped back and kicked him in the stomach  know a front kick. as he went down I turned and walked off quite quickly as I am not one for fights. I would rather run than fight unless it vital to stand. 

Well all I can say about work is, it has been busy with new staff starting and people going missing. but busy is always good as it makes the time go quicker. My kickboxing sessions have been going well. I am getting on top of reversing punches, which is one of my difficulties at the minute but I am getting through it. But there are times where I think I wish I could teach my own classes. When I get my Black Belt I will go under my instructors name and his insurance until I get established then go my own way. But the thing is, out of respect for my instructor I will keep his class name and his name for chief instructor. I do enjoy my classes and so look forward to teaching fitness and kickboxing all in one.

I have found lately that people are becoming more and more selfish in society. For example I was walking into town today and a saw an elderly woman walking with a stick and she was walking slowly. I was walking behind her and she stopped walking and asked me to come by, I said to her ‘no carry on I am not in a hurry’. So she turned and carried on, then two idiots barged passed her and nearly knocked her to the floor. I jumped forward and tried to grab the old lady, to stop her falling over, just in time. I shouted at the two idiots and told them to show respect, plus a few choices of bad language. As I did this the two idiots turned and started getting confrontational with me, here we go again, I seem to attracted these types of people. Then from no where a police officer came from somewhere and stepped in. The look on these two idiots faces was priceless. This police officer was built like a brick shit house, muscles everywhere and turned towards these idiots and basically told them to apologise and walk away. To be fair if he told me to jump I would ask how high. lol

Well I am chilling right now and watching a movie on Netflix Ouija: Origin of evil, Not to bad but not scary at all. I still also still looking for a new job, something exciting, and more demanding to ask for. Something that will push me to my limits and make me better mentally and physically.

Today is my day of rest and maybe I will hit the gym later as I have just completed four challenges in four months, run or walk 100-125-150-200 miles in a month. maybe next month I will try cycling the same distances as well. Just to get my fitness better, even though I go kickboxing once a week and the gym three to four times a week I need to concentrate on my diet to strip the body fat away , just a little.

Ordinary Life

It has been a while since I have been on here I suppose, I did think I had myself sorted but work been so busy and trying to go to the gym and kickboxing I am actually feeling worn out lately. I do actually think I am not eating enough through the day to fuel my body. Common mistake from what I hear around. So I have looked up what I need to do is up my carbs a little more, so I am starting to up my carbs as from today and I will see how it goes and if it doesn’t get better then I suppose I will go to the doctors to get advice. 

Work has been good lately and I have started to be the one running the shift more and more, all I can say is it has been interesting. only time will tell on this. What I have also been doing is looking for a new job to see what is on the horizon. Don’t get me wrong I love my job but I am looking for something I can climb the ladder with. I was sitting back and wishing I had more courage when I was younger and joined the police I would have aimed to join the armed police force and maybe tried to go higher something in the anti terrorism department I think it is called SCO19. This would be in my eyes an exciting job and an adrenalin filled job too. I have looked at the NCA at their jobs and it seems you have to be a police officer already. I did try to start with the specials in the police force but after passing the interviews and assessments I got told I am not able to join because I used to have seizures, so this stopped me joining. so was not happy about it. I have looked at Security, anything in security, I have looked at intelligence of any kind, finally at the MOD as well. I was sometime looking at applying for armed police officers for the MOD and no previous experience needed. So wish I had gone for that one. you snooze you lose is suppose.

I am going to keep looking and I believe something will come up for me. I have had a chilling weekend as I am actually feeling a little drained after  kickboxing Friday night and then the gym early Saturday morning. So I went for a walk around town on Saturday and as usual I went to my favourite coffee shop and had a large cappuccino with an extra shot and a ham and cheese panini. As I sat there eating and drinking I start to people watch , young families, old couples , sweet seeing them walk hand in hand as the waddle down the street smiling and talking. I was walking up the main high street and a group of young idiot kids pulling wheelies down the road pulling in front of cars. This did not go down well with the public and one woman stopped her car and shouted abuse at the kids, justified I would say. The little shits all crowded her car and they started getting mouthy at her. One lad pushed her back onto her car and then she smacked him in the face. He hit the floor like a sack of spuds. Some other members of the public came to her aid, not that it looked like she needed it, she had a stance like a fighter. The other people grabbed some of the louts and pushed them to the floor and told them quite harshly to go away. I can tell you I have never seen kids run so fast and one of them left his bike behind . Good on the woman nice slap too. This stupid dangerous stunt by kids is happening far to often in the town where I live and it will be the drivers that hit these idiots that will suffer for this. 

When I woke up Sunday morning I was aching so much I could hardly move and when I stood up I could feel my bones cracking all over , It did feel good though. So straight away I decided I was not going to go to the gym today as it would finish me off, rest day it is called. In fact I actually haven’t done much at all through the day so I have not got much to report for today. But one thing I am going to do is continue looking for jobs. I’ll be looking at the usual places, MOD and government websites, I need a more exciting job something that gets me thinking and looking at more things with an open mind. 

Well people I shall bid you a good day and hope you are all well, and stay safe out there people. There can be a few strange people out there and people you do not want to bump into when it starts to get dark. If you think someone is following cross the street and maybe walk back up the street and pop into a shop or a bar. If driving always keep a car distance between you and the car in front just in case you get some idiot trying to do road rage and that space will give you the distance to pull out and drive off.

Ordinary Day — September 13, 2018

Ordinary Day

Good day to you all, I hope you are all well and enjoying life. I am on my second day off today and in the next three days I will be working three 12 hours shifts, so that Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So I start at 07:00 and finish at 19:00 so this means as I walk to work I will get home about 19:30 and then I will have to cook food for the next day as well. I will not settle until about 20:00 but it is not to bad I do enjoy cooking. 

Well on my first day off I sadly woke at about 06:00 and could not settle down and go back to sleep. So I laid there looking through my social media on my phone, Facebook and Instagram for a while then played a few games on my phone, helps pass the time. Once I got up I made some breakfast which consisted of scrambled eggs and ham with some spring onions, delicious. Plus with this I had a few slices of crusty bread and a strong coffee. Once finished I got ready for the gym and wore my MyProtien gym wear and headed out the door. I went for a long walk around my local park and on my way around the park there was a few, what appeared to be drunks, a group of men staggering around and a few of them urinating in the bushes. The only thing wrong with that is there was a lot of people around the park and people off to work and school. There was also a few women out for a run as it is early and about 08:10. Heading into town I went to my favourite coffee shop (costa) and got my self a Cappuccino with an extra shot, then drank this as I walked to the gym. This must of took me about 40 minutes in all to get there, which is not to bad. 

Once set in the gym I started with a 30 minute run at a steady 10.5 pace and tried to set my mind straight so I did not get bored of running, I do tend to find usually I get bored after about 15 minutes but I managed ok this time. After my run I did my usual 9 holes but this time I did a 30-40 seconds run and then 2 minute walk as the treadmill raised and lowered, which did seem to go very quick. I went to do bench press set at 50kgs and managed only 3 sets of 10 reps. Once recovered I did leg raises, 4 sets of 20 leg raises which I do feel today. Moving on I did seated rows with weights set at 65 kg and managed 4 sets of 13 reps, which did take it out of me and finally moved on to shoulder press. With the shoulder press I managed 32.5kgs on both sides, I did do 12 reps and 4 sets. Finally I did 12 bicep curls with 4 sets and the weight was 25kgs. Once done which took about an hour at the gym, then I decided to walk the same way home which took me roughly about 35-40 minutes to get home. 

Once home I had a shower and got into my slobs, shorts and t-shirt and chilled. I made myself a milkshake from berries, milk, Greek yoghurt and a banana, filled me up for a short while, with this I decided to watch a film called Total recall. Once on the sofa watching this I suddenly woke up and as usual I had fallen asleep laying on the sofa and I had fallen asleep for a few hours. Once I finally woke up it was about 12:40 and I was starving but felt so tired and drained, I am feeling that a lot lately. To be honest I did have a good sleep not long after and I slept well in the night as well and I never sleep this much. It does feel good to catch up on your sleep.

When I went to bed finally and watched a movie I must of fell asleep while watching it, I had a weird dream again in the night. From what I can remember I was in bed and suddenly the quilt got tight around me and pinned my arms to my side. I started to float above my bed and then I could hear someone talking to me but could not make out what they was saying. I tried to call out ‘who is it’? but nothing came out, I tried this a number of times but still nothing. I floated down onto my mattress again and then there was a figure standing at the end of my bed. All I could see was a dark figure standing there and I could hardly make out their facial features but from the words I would hear I know it was a woman. This continued for what appeared to be another 10 minutes then the figure laughed and said see you soon and disappeared. Weird I know but that was just a dream……….. surely . Maybe I should get a Ouija board and see if there is a ghost trying to talk to me, funny idea I know. Any ideas on my dreams.

Ordinary Life

Good Afternoon everyone, how are you all doing? I hope you have had a great weekend. Mine was actually very quiet indeed, but that just suited me just fine. It gave me a chance to catch up on things around the house, like cooking food for the next couple of days, laundry and getting extra mileage at the gym, plus I even went to see my parents for a short while. I was also debating whether to go into town, but decided against it and I am actually glad as there appeared to be a bit of trouble in town last night (Saturday) as I head a lot a police and ambulance sirens going around the town. 

Well this morning I woke at about 06:40 as some selfish git drove up my street with a noisy stereo blaring out some sort of music with to much base. I appeared that I was not the only one it woke up, as I shouted for them to turn that shit down some bloke came out were the car pulled up and shouted at him to turn it off. The drive got out of the car and faced up to the bloke, the man said something to him and then pushed the driver onto his own car, this did make me laugh. Suddenly the drive did not appear to be so tough after all as he turned his music off. A woman came out of a house close were he was park and shouted at the drive what the bloody hell do you think you are doing and got into the passenger seat, which is when the car drove off. As the man turned he looked around and you can see the smile on his face. 

Once I had been awake for a while as I could not fall back to sleep I went to make myself a coffee and made some fried sausage meat and scrambled egg for breakfast, as usual I made to much to eat, so I saved it for when I came back from the gym and heated it up again. Once it got to about 07:30 I got ready for the gym and headed out. As I walked to the gym doing a warm up walk, you know the fast paced walk just enough to warm up and to get a little bit sweaty. Once at the gym I started off with a fast paced run set on a speed of 11 for 6 minutes running then walked for a minutes and did this for around 20 minutes. Once done I then started a walked called 9 holes which lasts for about 13-14 minutes at a pace of about 7-7.5 and the treadmill at set times goes up in angle or lowers in angle. After this had finished I can tell you I was very sweaty indeed  and a little wiffy. I then headed to where there are seated weights and worked on my shoulders, lifting 30kgs each shoulder, not to heavy, I walked over to the seated leg press and tried this, I can not remember what weight it was but my legs still ache from this morning and it is 19:00 at time of writing. I went into the free weights room and started on an incline bench press and started off with 25 kg’s each side then up it to 30 kg s each side, I definitely feel that in my chest at the minute. After this I got a kettle bell about 20 kg s and held it over my head and raised my shoulders off the ground and slowly lowered my shoulders back flat on the floor, this was done slowly with a count of 15 and I tried to do this 4 times and I can tell you it was a struggle. Once I got some stretching done I went to do some free dips which works your triceps and chest, which I managed about 4 lots of 10 dips, this actually felt like my chest was being torn apart. To finish off I did about 3 lots of 10 lateral pull downs at a heavy weight which I could barely manage.

Whilst walking home I got to a junction in the road and all of a sudden about 30-40 runners can running past in the road, the road had actually been closed off as there was a town half marathon going on. Once in town I headed to my favourite coffee shop ( Costa ) for a Latte with an extra shot, but unfortunately people were cueing out the door, so I went to the one in the shopping centre and it was the same, so I decided to leave it. As I got to the other side of town I came to the main road and yet again I came across the marathon runners again, so this took me a few minutes to get across the road. Once home I went straight into the shower and cleaned up and changed my clothes, as it was quite warm I decided to wear grey baggy shorts with a thin black t-shirt with red and white writing on it saying Pathfinder Martial Arts on the chest and sleeves. Once settled I made myself some fried rice and chicken but added garlic salt to it for flavour. As I ate this I watched a film called Serenity, a Sci-Fi film but quite funny in places, this film I think lead to the spin off of Firefly TV programme. Once I watched this it was time to head off to my parents house which is about a 30-40 minute drive away. On the way there I did manage to come across a few stupid and dangerous drivers, people overtaking on bends and at cross roads, plus people on their mobiles. What the hell is wrong with people doing stupid things like this behind a wheel of a killing machine. The thing is it will be the innocent people that will get hurt or worse and this courses so much upset in families, can they not see this. 

As I hit the town where my parents life a come across a place I used to work in the community and it had been torn down and apparently turned into a children’s home. After about five minutes of driving I arrived at my parents house and greeted by  their dog running over to me, bloody fur ball. For a change it was actually quite nice there, we sat and chatted for ages and my mum made me a sandwich of ham, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and finally salad cream. It was blooming lovely too. The whole time I was eating my mums dog tried to get me to hand him some of my sandwich, which did not happen. While I was there I left my brother his birthday present and some birthday money as he was not going to around for at least another 4 hours. I stayed for a few hours then I had to depart as I needed to get some food shopping done and make my food for work for the next few days.

Unfortunately all I did after this was drive home and make my food for the next few days, first off I made pasta in a cheese sauce, with roasted chicken and sausage meat with plenty of melted cheese on top. Plus also I made a salad with the remaining meat and lemon juice squirted over it. Right now while typing this I am also watching Kingdom of Heaven with Orlando Bloom and Jeremy Irons. Not a bad film either. It will have to be an earlyish night for me tonight as I have work in the morning and I have to be up at 05:00 and be ready to leave the house for 06:00 to walk to work and be ready to start my shift for 07:00. I usually get there about 06:40 and that gives me time to change into my uniform and have a cup of tea and chill before I start. Cannot complain my job is easy and I do get paid well for what I do. 

Well I am off for now and hopefully my next few days at work will not be to bad and I will try and get back on here in between if I don not finish to late on my shifts. Take care everyone and do not work to hard.

Ordinary Life.

Good afternoon it is roughly 13:30 here in the UK  and the weather is, excuse language, crap here at the moment, raining enough but not to much. So I have not been able to go out for a run round my local park, or a long walk to the gym, so all I can do is watch movies, dam what a life . 

So last night I did go kickboxing with my instructor and had a lesson on how to use pads in a productive way. I learnt how to brake down the moves on a 6 count combination which consisted of Jab, Cross, Hook, block with the hook then, hook, hook, cross. For some reason I had trouble getting this combination, yes it is easy enough but then my instructor mentioned about fluid motion and demonstrated this. After a few attempts it sunk in to my muscle memory. During the session I took the warm ups which seem to of gone well and the warm downs. Apart from the combination I struggled with I demonstrated the six pinch combination which is Jab, Cross, Upper cut, Upper cut, Hook, hook. Then once the students got this we did a burn out of lead leg front kick then a cross then over head hook. After the session, myself and the instructor spoke about the way the session had gone and yes he was impressed even though it had been difficult for me. Giving me an ego boost. 

This Morning I woke up due to a night mare at about 05:50, which was not scary but it gave me a fright. I dreamt that I was laying in bed, suddenly the quilt became tight over me, as I thought I opened my eyes I could not speak or call for help. I looked to my left and then my mattress with me on it started to float around the room and all I could hear was laughing coming all around. Then the mattress landed back on my bed and to my left was a woman standing by my bed, she spoke a weird language but I seemed to understand her. When I tried to speak nothing would come out of my mouth but she responded to what I was trying to say. Then I had a pain in my head and the mattress flew around the room again and I was paralysed physically and verbally but I was talking to this woman. As the mattress landed I managed to turn to my left and it appeared to by my Gran but she was shouting at me in some strange language but I understood her, the only thing is I could not remember what it was she said. Weird I know but do not judge me.

Well after that stupid dream I decided to watch a movie to relax me and watched Shrek 2 and the next thing I know I am waking up in bed and it is 08:45 ish and felt like I had slept for ages but woke up stiff in all my joints and my throat was so sore. I am putting that down to a virus lol.

This morning I got up and shored and headed straight into town and went to costa for a medium cappuccino with an extra shot and a ham and cheese panini . Once I had this I went for a walk around town and got two DVD’s one called Red Sparrow, not as good as I thought it would be, also Alien Code which was not to bad really, gets you thinking.

I really don’t have much more to report at the minute, Little bit of a boring life I have at the minute but it is relaxing and I do what I want when I want . Just miss that closeness of falling asleep holding on to that special person. Waking up next to that special person for now. Hoping that will change soon. Thinking of going for a run later if the weather holds off but it does not look like it for now. Any way I will be back later, hope everyone has a great weekend and take care people. Ordinary Life

Good Day to you all, well I have had a busy few days at work, just little bits coming along all at once and when you down staff it gets just a little busy but we all got through it. Cannot really talk about work on here so I will move on to something different. 

Well today is my first of three days off and today I am taking it easy at the minute, well kind of. I was totally awake by 06:30 and felt like I had slept for two days. But once I was awake I went and had breakfast, my usual drink of strong coffee with milk and then instead of food I made a shake instead. It consisted of 3 heaped spoons of Greek yoghurt, handful of Blueberries, handful of Raspberries, 1 Banana, 1 large Orange, 250mls Soya milk and ice to make it cold. It was tasty as well. I decided to watch Iron Man 2 while I had breakfast and look through my Instagram and Facebook accounts. When it came to about 08:40 ish I got changed in to my gym gear and headed off to my local gym. But I did my usual thing of walking at a fast pace around the town before hitting the gym, I did stop off at my favourite coffee shop (costa) for a medium Latte with an extra shot to make it stronger.

As I get to the gym I change my T-shirt and go straight to the cardio area and do something called 9 holes, it consists of  setting your weight and level which I always set at the highest level and this lasts for about 14 minutes. Whilst this goes on the treadmill goes up and down at different angles. Once this was done I started to do flat jogging at an average speed of about 10.5 for about 8 minutes then a walk for 60 seconds then repeat the run then 60 second walk again, I did this for about 40 minutes which is roughly when I got bored of cardio. I then went and did some lateral pull downs, over head pulls with a dumbbell, bench presses, seated rows and bicep curls. Once I completed this  I had a 30 minutes walk home to finish off. Once I got home I decided to have a shower and then a nap for a short while.

I noticed on the way round to the gym that, how clear the rounds and streets were now the kids are back at school. There was hardly any young folk in town, mainly people going to a forth to work and home. People in a rush and people ambling along like they are in no hurry to get anywhere fast. People in suits and smart wear looking like they off to work in an office of some type. There are some people in gym wear, some jogging through the streets, looking all red faced, some with big bags draped over their shoulder looking like they are on the way to the gym or on way back. I come across a few homeless people sleeping in shop doorways and in alleys ways, and one or two of them are wondering/ staggering around and very red faced and to smelling to great, slurring their words as they talk to each other.

 Well after my nap, yes I feel old saying that, I make myself some food which was a chilli sausage sandwich and a big glass of squash with ice. Now I am just waiting for it to hit 19:15 then I will be walking to kickboxing session, where I may be teaching it or be partaking in the session. who knows. But I do like Kickboxing it gets you physically fit and focuses on you mental alinement. 

Time to have dinner so I will bid you a good day and hope you are all fine and I should be posting something tomorrow if I don not get to busy (joke), I will be hitting the gym in the morning I think so take care everyone.

Ordinary Life

Good day to you all, how is everyone on this lovely day? I did not post yesterday as I was actually feeling very drained, truthfully I think it was because I had been to the gym but did not eat enough. More out going calories than what I had coming in. I now know I have to start eating much more calories to take in this month as I have signed up for something called Race Your Own Pace ,and I have to cover 200 miles this month. Plus I have kickboxing once a week and the gym as well, so more food needed. So today I have eaten something reasonably health every couple of hours (2-3).

This morning I was up at about 07:30 and could not be bothered to get out of bed, lazy or just tired? Well not long after I got up and showered and decided to make scrambled egg with ham and spicy sausage, dam it tasted good. Today had to be food shopping so needed to get a few necessities like different fresh meats, milk and gluten free bread and wraps, love the sweet potato wraps. Plus a few other things like real crusty bread, nothing better than a slice or two or real crusty bread and butter. The thing I find when I go shopping in a supermarket is the people become savages with no manners what so ever. I am sure I am not the only one that thinks this, it becomes a place where people lose their morals and understanding. For instance when I got there I collected my trolley I walked to the lift to go to the ground floor and as I got to the lift the woman closed the lift door on me and went down, the thing is I was only a couple of feet away? While wondering around I find people of and older generation would block the isles with their trollies so you cannot get past. When you say ‘excuse me, can I get past’? they just luck at you and carry on. So I had to move one of the trollies and when I did, Oh dear it was like I tried to steal he hand bag, she even swore at me, which actually made me laugh, so I just uttered one word ‘Idiot’ and walked off.

Once home and unpacked I decided it is time for a hair cut so off to my local barbers which costs me about £7.00, which is cheap I think. I get my usual which is the clippers with no guard and shave it all off, luckily it only takes about 3-4 minutes. Plus then she goes over my head with smaller clippers and makes it a closer cut with no odd strands. The only thing with having my hair this short is that you can feel the sun so much more on the head and it feels like my head is burning now, I know , why did I not wear a hat?

I had all good intentions of going to the gym this morning, I made myself a sandwich with chilli sausages, dam good too. The silly thing is after I ate the sandwich and watched Jumanji with Kevin Heart I fell asleep for an hour or two and woke about 14:00 ish. So without thinking about it I got my arse off the sofa and got changed into my gym kit, I nearly wear MyProtien gym wear. So as I leave the house I set my apple watch to walk counter and go for a forty minute walk before hitting the gym, then set my watch to general workout. While at the gym I decided to do some running, interval running as I find constant running so bloody boring, so I did 5 minutes running at a speed of  11, then walking for 1 minute to try and work on recovery time. after about 40 minutes id had enough as being bored of running so I decided to do some weights in the gym. I started an incline bench press of 80kg with four sets of 12 reps at a slow pace. I moved on to bicep curls 27.7kg , 12 reps at 4 sets, and moved on to do some core work which consisted of 16kg kettlebell, laying on my back raising the kettlebell above my head, then raising my shoulders off the ground working the top part of my stomach. Once this was done I went to attempt shoulder press at 30kg each side and did 11 reps at 4 sets done slowly. Next was lateral pull downs set at 150 and only managed 9 reps but 4 sets and again slowly. Finishing on leg extensions set at 38.5 kg each leg at 7 reps each and 4 sets. this killed me in the end so now it is time to walk home but take it the long way round. This took me about 40 minutes to get home and showered. 

In the evening I got food ready for work tomorrow, I work 07:00 until 19:00, bloody long day I know. I made for one meal chicken salad with lemon juice, but made to much so I got enough for the next day. I also have made a pork tikka masala with egg noodles, enough for two days.

Well it is 21:11 here and I need to get finished for work tomorrow morning, plus I am watching Iron Man 3 on Netflix too. I am actually feeling the burn from the gym today but I do like that muscle burn you get from working out. An Ordinary Day — September 2, 2018

An Ordinary Day

Well it is Sunday today and it appears I woke at about 08:00 hrs this morning, the sun is beating in through the window but there is also a nice little breeze flowing into the room as well. Instead of laying in this morning, I decide to go for a shower and head down stairs for a coffee and breakfast. I did decide straight away on what to have for breakfast, which is different for me as usually I can’t decide straight away. In my ultimate wisdom I decided to have a sausage sandwich, with brown sauce.  this consisted of three sausages, gluten-free bread and a small amount of butter on the bread and to top it off I had a strong cup of coffee. 

Getting my bag a wallet together I head out the door and wow the glare from the sun hits me and the heat is awesome but I do need to go and change from wearing jeans and a thin long-sleeved top to shorts and a T-shirt. Heading back out I walk a different route into town for a change, just a little longer but nothing exciting really. Surprisingly for a Sunday morning around 10:30 there is a lot of cars on the road, especially the closer to town you get, then I realise it is pay-day weekend and the last day before the kids go back to school from summer holiday. The close I get to town as I walk the more and more I see lots of families walking around in this heat and it also looks like a few have packed a bag ready for a picnic in one of the local parks. Heading more in to the town centre I head for my favourite coffee-house, Costa. Today I ordered a medium Latte with an extra shot and for a change they did not make it to hot to drink straight away.

Around town there are a few different types of people out, you have the families that are out doing their own thing and bothering no one. You have the ones that are out that let their kids run riot, screaming and shouting and running into people and not caring one little bit. Some times you can hear one or both of the parents scream at their kids and belittle them and scolding them in public. Then you have the teenagers that hang around in groups swearing and acting like idiots, but not talking but shouting at each other, so everyone can hear what they are saying from about 20 feet away. Then you have the ordinary nice people who don’t barge into you or course trouble, they are the ones that are just out in town and doing what they need to do and minding their own business. To be honest I don not know why I came into town as I do not need anything, maybe I board of being off work this weekend.

I have decided to head of to the nearest park and wander around there for a while as I head home. The park and playing field is full of kids playing football, couples sitting in the sun having picnics and families playing with their kids at the swings and slides. As I wonder around I think to my self thinking that I miss the going to the park with a family and having fun, messing around and getting away with acting like a kid with your own children. One day I will get this I’m pretty sure of that. I walk around a big pond where I can see the swans swimming around and the ducks looking for food to eat as some people are feeding the ducks and geese at the pond. The funny thing is I have just seen a little yappy dog go up to one of the geese and start barking at it, the geese flap their wings and chase the little dog. The little brave dogs turns and runs while yelping, it just tickled me.

Once home I decided to go and have a nap as the walk which did take a few hours has taken it out of me, that’s what happens when get a bug and end up throwing up a lot. When I woke up again I am actually starving, It is actually about 14:25 when I wake up and I have got into the habit of eating little and often. I eat roughly every two to three hours but it is usually something healthy, well most of the time. I had mad myself a chicken, ham, cheese and salami sandwich. Whilst I sit on the sofa I decide that I am going to watch the box set of DVD’s Underworld and stupidly have a beer or two maybe. Have not just sat at home chilled and had a beer. Probably going to have a can or two of Stella Artois. 

Well right now it is 19:03 and I am watching the 3rd DVD underworld The rise of the Lycans, so what I am going to do is bid you all a good evening and hope you are all well. I will try to get back on tomorrow afternoon to evening. 



An Ordinary Day — September 1, 2018

An Ordinary Day

This morning after a night of feeling rough and possibly a virus or bug I woke up with what appeared to be a temperature, and a little sweaty. It wasn’t a hot night and plus I had a few windows open in the bedroom and feeling that cool breeze blowing around now and again. How great does it feel when you are laying on the top of the quilt with the windows open and every now and again you feel that cool to cold breeze brushing over you skin which appears to have such a powerful cooling effect when you feel warm. The trouble with having a virus/bug is that I don’t sleep to well and being awake at 04:54 am , I know its early but once awake I am awake. 

In the kitchen filling the water filter for the kettle to make coffee I can hear some squealing in the garden, I unlock the back door and go outside and see two cats squaring off with each other, fur standing up on their backs, moving round each other. Reaching to my left I grab my hose and turn on the tap and spray around the garden but not aiming at the cats but at the plants and bushes near by. This was enough to spook the cats and they run off in opposite directions to one another. So going back into the kitchen I stupidly trip over stubbing my toe and end up on my hands and knees. A few choice words were said at this point. Making a coffee and using the last few pieces of crusty bread , I make eggy bread with melted cheese on top mmmm. But for me the eggy bread with cheese has to be a little bit well done on top. but then maybe a little bit of brown sauce on a couple of them. 

Deciding to head off into town for a coffee and a little bit of people watching, walking up the street, I feel that cool breeze from earlier when I was in bed. The sun is beating down but it not to hot and the cool breeze makes it bearable as I am wear jeans and a baggy white T-shirt. Heading into town I aim straight for Costa Coffee and order a medium Latte with an extra shot which costs about £3.10, give or take. Sitting by the window sipping on my coffee, why is it they always make it extra hot? I watch people walking by and watch what they are doing their expressions and their body language. There is one man who appears to be dressed in dirty jeans, trainers which are scruffy and have a few holes with a ripped hoody, he has a can of beer in his hand and it appears by the way he walks that he has been drinking all night. Meeting up with what appears to be his friends and he looks happy to see them, but you can actually hear then talk, I use the word talk loosely, more shouting and swearing. There is one woman dressed smartly in a knee length grey skirt with a black blouse/shirt, and a matching grey jacket. She is sparking up a cigarette and learning her head to the left while holding a mobile phone between her shoulder and ear. After a few minutes from her body language the phone call don’t look so good. She is smoking her fag/cigarette with quick drags on it, every now and again she is tamping her foot and sometimes you can hear her swear.

The next thing made me feel like humanity is still alive in places. There was a homeless man sitting near the coffee shop , not hassling anyone. Then about two lads and one girl start heckling him and flicking sweets at him. he doesn’t get angry he just asks for them to leave him alone. One of the lads steps up to him and gets in his face swearing at him and still he does nothing. As I stand up, I hate bullies by the way. I head out the door and walk up to the lads and as I get there one woman starts having a dig at the boys and girl. They start mouthing off at her and then a man and myself step up and tell the boys to F off . The man who isn’t that big or intimidating looking steps into the ring leaders face and I step the bullies side looking at him. Believe me I am no tough guy. The bullies friend step back very quickly, The man that stepped up to the bully looks at me and I nod at him with a smile, as if to tell him I got you. The boy backs off quite quickly as the man tells him what will happen if he carries on, as he walks off he gets mouthy and making threats which actually makes the three of us laugh. The lady goes into Costa and gets a coffee and a pastry and gives it to the homeless man. Humanity restored. 

Going back into the coffee shop I finish off my coffee and think why are some people such D*#ks to one another. But at least there are a few decent people out there. After finishing my coffee I head off home but walk through town doing a little window shopping. Just looking at clothes and things I don not actually need, but I think I could do with that but actually don’t need it. Why do people do that, as in buy things we don’t need. 

Unfortunately In the afternoon I didn’t do much walking around has drained me after having a virus/bug. So I laid on the sofa and put on Netflix but I did not watch much as I fell asleep, lol . How old do I feel having an afternoon nap after a small walk for the morning. I woke up and cooked myself some food chicken, rice and spicy salami. weird combination I know but it tastes dam good. 

Well I am done for today, as I said there has not been a lot going on today and some days there is nothing much going on but then some days there is a lot going on but nothing to exciting. but I will try and jot it down in a daily diary like this. 


Starting Again. — August 31, 2018

Starting Again.


Well it has been a while since I have done any writing, so I am going to give it another try and see what happens. Due to personal reasons I gave up trying to write or blog, what ever you want to call it. I am not sure what I am going to write about or where it can lead to but I thought I need to do something with my spare time instead of laying on the sofa, watching TV. Kind of gets boring.

In the past year I have had to deal with a separation from my wife, and no it was not my doing. It was a situation where I gave her the options to end it with someone and we could work it out. What a mistake, as we agreed to try but then found out how she lied and carried on. Me being the man that is too nice, let her stay until she finds a place which she did and totally bent my trust. Well I can honestly say we all live and learn. So I have learned and now For the past four months I have moved on. I have found a new woman in my life and she is amazing. 

Recently I have started getting  back into working at the gym and working on my kickboxing. I have started to do a lot more cardio but splitting that up so it doesn’t get boring, how boring can cardio be just running a long distance at one pace for 30 minutes, so I started mixing it up a little. Some times I will be jogging at a fast pace for 5 minutes then walking for 2 minutes then try 1 minute running at a fast pace then walking for 2 minutes and repeat that for about 10-15 minutes. Then after this I will try to do an all over body work out with weights that I can lift just about 3 sets of 12-14 reps. Just so I can feel the burn the next day, you got to love the burn.

So now I am going to start writing again but I am not sure what I am going to write about as yet. I did try writing a story but I actually got bored of that, and cannot get back into it. So I thought I would try something different.

So basically I am on track to get back on track with my self with a big help from my new person in my life. I am actually drinking a glass or 2 or wine watching Gilmore Girls, yer I know, no need to say anything.  As time goes by I will try to write something every couple of days and write about things I come across and see on the news. 

Well this is the start or me attempting to write. I will try different things and styles but at the end of the day I am not a professional write so go easy on me. 

Men’s weekend outfits  — January 19, 2017

Men’s weekend outfits 

Today I will try and write about a few outfits I have found while looking through the Internet. 
I have looked and found about four outfits that I think look ok and are the sort of thing men would wear on a daily weekend or a lads night out.

Above we have a whole outfit out together by someone who knows what they are doing. We start of with the black casual shoes 👠 with a white trim. Put together with dark tan chinos that for some reason are rolled up at the ankles. With the trousers there is a dark brown leather belt. 

On top we have a grey T-shirt and over this is a slim fit long sleeved jumper. With a button up chest opening. With the rest of what we have here I would finish it off with the thick grey woolly scarf, not the body warmer.

This is an easy and simple outfit that has been put together. I like this one as it can be made to look casual to smart in the change of a top. 
To start with we have the tan leather smart shoes 👠 that can be worn with casual wear and suits. For the bottoms we have dark blue half faded jeans 👖 at the knees. To finish it off is a brown tweed style jacket. With this jacket you could wear a dark blue high V neck T-shirt, to make it casual. If you want it smart you could have a slim fit shirt 👚 in colours of black, brown, white or grey just to name a few.

This is a very casual but also smart at the same time. The trousers are a seemed a sand/grey colour, with the pockets on the outside of the trousers 👖. Finished off with a black leather belt done loosely. The top as can be seen is a slim fit in a grey colour with two dark grey stripes across both sleeves. The whole outfit is finished off with a dark grandad hat 🎩. With out the hat it a very smart looking casual look that could be worn with a lads night out or out for a pub meal 🥘.

This out fit is my favourite of the lot so far. To start with it would be worn with bark brown leather smart shoes 👠 with dark brown corduroy trousers 👖. The shirt 👚 would be a slim fit and it appears to be of lilac colour. The jacket appears to be of light green to grey. Made from wool, with three buttons and always done up with just the middle button. To finish the outfit he is wearing a tan coloured cotton looking scarf. 

This outfit is of the smart appearance for something like an office or meeting. People have often worn this style for weekends away or just simply trips into town. 
At the end of day it doesn’t make what you like or what you are told. If you like what you are wearing you should wear it whenever you like.

Middle aged men’s fashion

I have had a look the the Internet for men’s fashion for men around my age. That is the age range from 40-55 , as most fashion is for younger people. 
I have come across a few photos, I personally like and it is only my opinion. Please feel free to leave comments if you like what I write or you could suggest a subject you would like me to write about. Remember I am not a professional writer, but would like to write more. 

Above we have a man who appears to be middle aged(could be wrong). He is wearing dark blue casual but smart trousers 👖 that look close to jeans 👖, even though you can’t see them. With this he is wearing a slim fit black high V neck T-shirt with a slim waistcoat making it immediately smart in appearance. To finish this off he has made it look smart but casual with a blue casual jacket with white/grey vertical stripes. Wrapped off with a thick scarf around the neck loosely. 

This is the sort of thing I would wear on a day out meeting friends or a night out. 

The man above is sporting a smart three piece suit but in this one he makes it looks casual as well as smart. 

Even though you can’t see it he is wearing tan leather boots. The trousers 👖 are short cut to the top of his boots. On top he is wearing a smart light blue shirt 👚 with a grey tie done up to the neck. Over his shirt he has a tweed style waistcoat done up making it smart. To finish the whole thing he has a dark casual jacket which as we can see is a different colour but goes very well. 

This is the sort of dress you could wear to the office when you want to look smart but casual at the same time. Definitely like this one ☝️ and would wear it on a dinner 🍴 date or a special night out. Only thing is, the length of the trousers 👖.

This to me is a daily wear and is open for most things like some offices, nights out or time out with friends.

Health food
Well I saw this and thought I’d give it a try. It will be my lunch for tomorrow. Easy to make and simple. 
Well it’s been a while since I have been in here. So how is everyone doing?  
I have taken myself back to the gym near enough every day so far and changed my eating habits so much. I tend to try and stay away from takeaways now. I tend to eat more veg and salads and have some sort of protein at least every 4 hours. 
This could be nuts, shakes or bars. Not fussed really.  

Also I have started have what is known as green shakes. If done right it tastes good. But dam it is effective (if you get my meaning) 😂.

🍋 lime 1

🥒 cucumber 140g

Spinach. 140g

Coconut oil. 1 tbsp

Water. 250g 
Blend it all together and I find it taste better if it not to cold. Something like room temperature.
New start  — December 27, 2016

New start 

Well after Christmas and having lots of food, chocolate and alcohol I think it is time for me to hit the gym and change my eating habits. I feel full all the time and sluggish. 
So as from tomorrow 28/12/16 I am starting to eat better and drink more water based drinks like green tea, ginkgo tea(love it), and water. In the food side I will start eating more vegetables and high protein foods but still have carbs for energy. 
So tomorrow I am having Almased meal replacements and pork with parsnip, carrots, potatoes and broccoli. 
Also I will be doing cardio and average weights in the cardio too. Things like bench press, squats and deadlifts mainly then average weights all over.

I have chosen a few aftershaves I personally like and smells that don’t cost a lot of money compared to some well known aftershaves. 
First of is FERRARI RED, this is sold in a brilliant red bottle and it is an eye catcher. The smell is masculine but sweet, it gets the attention when you wear it. The only down side to this after shave is that the aroma doesn’t last very long. You can look around and find it for the price of about £20. But all in all not a bad buy. 

The second after shave is by Jamie Redknapp and called Elite gentleman Untailored. This a pleasant sweet smell and does last for a while. Jamie has done well with this one. It last for a while when used and is also cheap to buy. It is sold by Avon and is one of 3 after shaves made by Jamie Redknapp for Avon. It retails at about £8. 

Third is one of the three aftershaves made by Jamie Redknapp for Avon. This is also a sweet but not as much as the one above. It is sold obviously by Avon and retails for £8 roughly. This is one of my favourite smells. It does also last for a while better than the others. 

Lastly is an old one and usually people relate this to old men. It is Brute Sport Style. It is a good aftershave and smells great, sweet but strong and does last for a while. I have had good reports from friends on it smelling nice. You can buy this in places like Bodyshop or on Amazon and could sell for about £6. 

These are just my personal choices. And I do like to a cheap but nice smell. I do know that there are lots more better aftershaves out there but this is my choice.

Not to long ago I went for a photo shoot in London. I have never done one before and I can honestly say I truly enjoyed it. Over all it took about 4 hours with choosing outfits that were laid out for me. Having make up put on me as I had a shiny face and head 😂. 
After doing that I thought that I would love to do this in my spare time and then make a career out of it. I now know that with my features it is not easy to get in too. The agencies are looking for a particular look as usual. 
Tall, slim, cheek bones and a six pack. Well to be honest that ain’t me 😞 yet. I mean the slim and six pack yet. 

Below you see the sort of outfits that I think would look good on me in a shoot. We see plain but thick smart jumpers worn with a plain shirt 👚 and also without a shirt. Both look good. A thick grey cardigan (which I do have myself). Also a thick brown half coat which falls just below the waist. 

Also below we see three pictures of men wearing winter clothes. Brown/ tan chinos worn with a red jumper finished off with a white stripe. To tie this off he is wearing a heavy grey coat which makes this all look smart. 

The third picture is a white shirt 👚 with purple stripes. Wearing a casual beige waistcoat done up with only one button. Finished off with a woollen jacket matching with a grey hat 🎩 and scarf. 
Finally a copper colour chinos with a grey knitted jumper with a below the waist jacket finished off with a scarf. 

These are just a few outfits I like and would like to try in a shoot myself. 
It doesn’t matter if I do or don’t make a full time career but I would like to give it my all on that. Maybe for a catalogue, Primark, Next or any other clothing company. 

Well people I hope you like what I have written. This time of year people need to be kind and tolerant of others. Be nice to others and try to smile when facing difficult times with others. There are always people less off the you. Spread a good deed and pay it forward.

Memoirs of an ordinary man 

DAY 15, 
Well what a busy day I had. We had a load of new recruits starting and having their induction for the week. That means lots of ID’s for new staff, must of been about 50 staff. 
Some people thought as well it would be a good day to kick off within where I work and in the community covering my work area. Not good. It doesn’t help when the other staff don’t give the full story of what goes on. 

On patrol this this morning I am greeted with the scenery above. Cold, wet but beautiful sun rise in the morning. This is one reason why I love winter. The beautiful colours or red, yellow, brown and black in The greenery of woodlands. 
It feels cold and biting cold to the skin but not to cold with a reflective jacket and woolly hat 🎩.

Misty and wet grounds, with dying trees 🌲 and cut back branches and trees looking like they are dying. 
It is a beautiful but sad time of year with colourful time of year. 
There is nothing better than being in the bitter cold and getting back into the warmth. 
Well remember people stay safe people. Be aware of how cold it could be when you are out and how quick the weather could change. Stay safe people and remember check on the elderly as they will feel the cold more than you and I.

Changing my eating habits 2

Well I said I was going to change my eating habits. I originally was going to have Almased three times a day for three days.
It was difficult but DAY was was a walk in the park, kind of. 
DAY two was a little bit harder as people kept bringing in Christmas treats into the office but I only had one or two things. 

The one good thing that came out of this is I got my arse in gear at the gym. Been killing the cardio and fat burning with weights. Fell the burn by the morning, love it. Keeping the kickboxing going too , plus at work I walk about outside for most of the day. 

I get to walk around and see scenery like this on my patrols. Seeing wildlife in peace and silence. 
Well I’ll keep up the cardio and weights. 
Remember people it’s is the season of good will, try to be tolerant of those angry scrooges out there. There may be something underlying we can’t see. Be nice and smile at every opportunity you can.

Changing my eating habits.

Well as I said I was going to start trying to lose some weight. I have started on my meal replacements called Almased. Mixed with 300g sofa milk, 10g olive oil, 50g Almased powder. I have this once in the morning, lunch time and in the evening. Each shake is about 230 kals each shake. 
During the day I have had coffee and ginkgo tea through out. After I finished work I went to the gym and did about 40 minutes cardio running 🏃 and walking 🚶 at intervals. Then after that I hit the free weights and did dumbbell bench press, shoulder press and lateral raises. Bicep curls and barbell squats. And repeated the whole lot three times with two rounds. 
Well when I got home 🏡 I weighed myself and I appear to be 90.5 at the minute and that’s not all fat some of it is muscle. Just don’t know where it is 😂. So what I’m aiming for is slim waist and a little six pack and toned. Nothing big. 
Well tomorrow will be tough on day two of three shakes only. Will see how it goes. Be nice people.

Changing my eating habits 

After this weekend of eating and drinking crap I need to get my act together. So I have decided to hit the meal replacements for three days. 
I’m not just picking any rubbish. I have looked into some different types of meal replacements and decided on Almased. 
It costs about £21 for a tub of about 500g and you make it by mixing about 300 MLS soya milk 🍼, 10g oil such as olive, rapeseed or flaxseed and then 50g of the powder. You will find blending it is best. 

I will have this for two to three days then replace one shake with a health meal for 4-7 days. In between this I will be doing some cardio and using weights at the gym. And the odd kickboxing class too. 

I have also downloaded Adrian James app to tighten and strengthen my core as well. But I need to get focused on doing this as from Monday morning. I will put updates on how it is going on weight and sizes and how it is going on the cardio front. 

Until tomorrow night after I come home from the gym I’ll log in and report on how it has gone.

Men’s fashion. My opinion 

I have been looking for some clothes to buy, something smart and yet casual. 
I went to Primark and had a good look around in other well known shops in the high street. 

Below you will see some outfits I took a fancy to. 

You can see in the first photo we see a young man sporting a slim fit shirt 👚 with a three quarter coat trimmed with a dark collar. With dark slim fit trouser and dark slim shoes 👠. In the second he is wearing a suit toned down with a high neck dark jumper to tone the suit down. Good for office work and for a night out. And half the price of most high street shops. 

I went to try this on myself. But alas it didn’t look this good. The trousers 👖 are a slim fit but worn with a brown belt and brown 👠 shoes. With that is a light lilac 👚 shirt. But to pull it off it needs to be a slim fit shirt not loose. And to finish off the suit it would have to be a burgundy tie or a darker shade of lilac. But you might be able to wear a brown tie but it would have to match the same as your belt or shoes. 

This model is wearing a tweed two piece suit of a speckled dark grey. To make this look casual, even though it is not a smart suit, he is wearing a long sleeved black jumper with chest white panel. This dresses it down and having the sleeves pop out the end of the jacket covering the hands. 
I hope you like what I have written. I haven’t done much on fashion and I am still learning.

What is it about this time of year?

This time of year is suppose to be the time of good will and people being nice to one another. 
Well let me tell you it’s not. People become so blinkered and job oriented that they forget about being nice and having manors. 
I was in town today looking for ideas for presents for my wife and family. As I was walking 🚶 to the entrance to the shopping centre an elderly woman was coming up to the 🚪 doors. As she was about to go through the doors this idiot goon of a man barged past her and nearly knocked her over. A couple asked if the lady was ok 👌🏼 and some security guard had a word with this goon. You could see him laughing 😂 to himself as he walked off. 
The streets become packed and busy, people forget everything about getting and having manors. 

This isn’t my town it’s an example of Christmas shopping in a busy high street. Don’t get me wrong. I love this time of year. Seeing all the decorations, people going out on work night outs. People having to much to drink 🍹 🍷🍸presents 🎁 and the street lights. 

People need to stop stressing out and relax about the shopping. Remember the little things in life. People be nice to one another, smile say morning to a stranger. Be nice.

Memoirs of an ordinary man

DAY 14,
Well I haven’t been on here for a while, that is because I have started a new job. Now I am doing security full time now working days and nights. I can honestly say I have never been so happy in a job and learning lots more. 
I get to patrol around some grounds with beautiful surroundings and scenery. I am out all day long walking around making sure nothing is out of order and no unwanted public on sight. 

At night the moon 🌙 light is bright. At night I am hearing noises from all sorts of animals, coming from the dark bushes and 🌳 🌲 trees. I have seen so many 🐺 foxes owls and deers just to name a few animals. There is nothing to not like about this job. 
The other night I was wondering around doing my patrol and out of nowhere a bloody deer ran out of a bush and ran past me very quickly scarring the hell out of me.

I was at work the other day and I was eves dropping on people’s conversations. It amazes me on people’s pet hates.

Shopping  — November 20, 2016


Not long ago I decided to go shopping in Primark for some smart clothes. I couldn’t decide on what to buy. People moan about Primark but they do have some great clothes. I was wearing at the time a hat and a scarf with a jumper. Really I should of worn a slim fit shirt 👚 as I decided to try on some waistcoats. 

The waistcoats was smart but casual at the same time. But unfortunately they didn’t suit me very well. I am usually a medium to large in my tops including jackets. But unfortunately I had to try an X large in waistcoats. Don’t know why? 

Well that day I found out. Either I need to lose some wait around my waistline and build some muscle. Or it is just that they don’t suit me at all. So I decided to try and lose some wait with smaller portions and healthier food with more exercise. 
Well people have a great day. Look after your loved ones. Wish or say a prey for others that are less fortunate. Try do do something nice for someone and ask them to pay it forward. Be good people.

Not so long back I went for a shoot in London. I paid £50 but I got that back. It took about four hours overall. The thing that pissed me off was I was told to take someone to give me support. When I got there I was told I was not to have anyone with me. So after a heated discussion my wife had to go round London, Piccadilly entertaining herself. 
As you can imagine this pissed me off hugely but I did enjoy the shoot. So below I have a few shots from the shoot.

DAY 13,
I went to a the airport the past few weeks and it amazes me how rude and uncaring people can be so rude and selfish. When at the airport (won’t say what one) but a lot of airports it happens. 
I was waiting to hear the gate called for my flight and when it was called people started pushing and pushing people as the went to the called for gate. 
At the end of the day people will get on the flight and get their seat no matter what. No need to be rude and push people. I saw a young mum struggling with her child and people mainly men barging pass her and one moron knocked over the child but carried on walking. Tutting as he walked into her. If I had chance I could of knocked into him.  
On the way back people pushed and knocked into people when getting their hand luggage from the over head hold all. I had one person push me out way and as I got up I called him a few names and he acted as he could not see what he did wrong. If I had treated him the way he treated me I would of been band from flying. 
In my opinion flight crew should have the power of arrests or detaining and fine unruly passengers. There should be security on every flights. I know that there would be security staff on flights with powers of hand cuff unruly passengers and powers of detaining.

DAY 12,
well first thing first, sorry for not being around. I have had a short break from things. Last week I went away to a country known as Slovakia 🇸🇰. First thing I did was got a train 🚂 from my home town and went to Birmingham airport. It was a morning flight by plane ✈️. 

When we got there I hired a car 🚗 and to be fare it was cheap as. I hired the car for about five days and it cost me about 98 Euros. I drove around on my days to different towns. One place I went to was a city called Zilina. This is a big town full of fashion shops, cafes and lots of bars. I went into a small shop and they make fresh baguettes. I had half a baguette which was about 7 inches with two pieces of breaded chicken 🍗 and red cabbage in mayonnaise. 

I also stopped in a small village which was surrounded by mountains. I did like it in this village as people I don’t know greater me with a smile and a nod. Beautiful place to visit and I highly recommend visiting the smaller towns and villages, most of the people are nice 👍🏼 and welcoming. 

This is a cake 🎂 made from cream cheese, bread, salad, cheese 🧀, tomatoes 🍅, and three different salamis and ham. Between the bread 🍞 is a soft tasting coleslaw. Put together like this it is to die for.

Chapter 1 

The Beginning of It All.


If you can picture this about James, he is about 5ft10 of medium build with just a little defined muscular body and needing to lose a pound or two from his gut so you can see his six pack. He has short brown hair on his head that is starting to disappear slowly and it is also going grey, you know the salt and pepper look. On his left Arm he has a tattoo of a crucifix but in a Celtic knot design, lower down his left arm he has a scar on his fore arm he got when he was a child and fell into a thorn bush. James is supposed to be wearing glasses but he thinks that he doesn’t need them so he tends not to wear them often, only when he is driving at night.



James spends most of his time working half days as a security guard for different companies and his is classed as self-employed. It has taken him about two years to build up his reputation as a good reliable security guard and he has spent a lot of money in advertising himself out there to different companies as well. James is starting to see a comeback on his money now after a hard two years and it won’t be long until he has earned wages in the region of the hundred thousand over the two years. James has slogged his guts out to get where he is today and he is not going to let it fail. He just wishes he had someone to share it with him. James can work from the hours of say 05:00 to 14:00 or 18:00 to 06:00, just to give you an example of some of the hours James works. He never does twelve hour days only just short days. But he does love being a security guard as he mostly works by himself and if he does end up working with anyone else it is usually some older man that just wants to sit and monitor the CCTV while James patrols the grounds. Don’t get James wrong he likes it that way, making his own decisions and only needing to worry about himself.



When James is not working, he likes to spend his time wondering around the shops and eat meals out in pubs or cafes. James is not a man who needs to flash that he is earning well, to be honest he looks like a man that doesn’t have a lot of money. He thinks it is better that way because if people find out that you have a lot of money they will be round begging for loans that they make you feel obliged to give. So if James can go what is known as window shopping by himself with no one bothering him he is the happiest man alive. James often sits in a coffee house in the centre of town and always orders a flat white with an extra shot; he does this so much the people working in the coffee house see him coming and makes it before he has ordered. James likes this but feels very uncomfortable with this kindness. Since he was 17 years old James has had to be by himself as both his parents suddenly disappeared from sight and sound. He is classed as an orphan because the police could not find his parents or any trace of them. So James has had to fend for himself and be helped out by social services since the day his parents disappeared. This is why James feels uneasy in social setting as he has never really had anyone to guide him.



James parents kissed him good bye in the morning when they were leaving for work one sunny morning and said that they would pick a take away up on the way home after work. James didn’t really know what his mum and dad did for a living, he just knew that they both worked together and this made them a strong couple. They loved James to pieces and they idolised James but did not spoil him, but he never wanted for nothing. This meant they had plenty of money and it must have been a well-paid job what they did. But what they actually did James never knew what it was. In the morning, James mum kissed him good bye for the very last time, unknown to James. James got his school bag and headed out the door to school, once at school James went to Maths and half way through his lesson the head teacher came into class and spoke to the maths teacher. They both looked at James with a troubled but sad expression on their old faces. The head teacher asked James to follow her to her office as there is two police officers wanting to speak to him. Walking to the head teachers office, James was thinking about what he could of done to get into trouble. Thinking back James had not been in a fight for the past three days so it cannot be that. Walking in the office the two police officers stood up and greeted James with a stern handshake. As soon as the male officer started speaking to James as if he was a five year old boy, James asked the officer what had happened to his parents. Apparently his parent’s car had been found abandoned in woods with no sign of any injuries or them ever being in the car. The car was spotless and the forensic team could not find any trace of his parents, no hair, and no blood stains, not even a finger print. It was like they had never been in the car and his parents had just vanished.
